News & FAQs

Disney Q&A

  • Do they do bingo on the ship, if so how often and what is the cost?

    • Yes! It draws a big crowd!

    • Do the electronic ones! Bingo is on sea days. Winning amounts depends on how many are playing and how many people get a bingo same time as you.

    • The pricing can go up each day it's available:

      • $80 – Family Pack

      • $50 – 48 Electronic Cards

      • $40 – 24 Electronic Cards

      • $40 – Double 3-Pack

      • $25 – 3 Paper Cards

      • The final sea day, it was $140 for the Family Pack, with automatic tablets of 36 cards at $70, or 72 cards for $90, and the 3-Pack was $30.

Margaritaville Q&A

  • Is the steakhouse worth the extra money?

    • My personal opinion is yes, very well worth it

    • We greatly enjoyed our meal and dessert

    • The steak was SOOOO good. Nothing like what you get in the main dining.

    • It's ok. Wouldn't go there again. Get this appetizer - waygu meatballs, then onion soup, only get the filet. The Caesar salad and shrimp cocktail are the same ones you get in dining room. Lobster bisque is very fishy.

    • 100% worth it!! Great food and huge portions!!

    • Yes wonderful experience and cheap!

    • It’s very nice but ridiculously overpriced

    • We have gone twice, it’s nice. However, we preferred the upcharge filet at the fins dining room. If you have never gone, I would try it.

Royal Q&A

  • For those who have been on Adventure and Explorer, would you say Explorer is in better shape?

    • Explorer, she is old but we liked it

    • I think they're about the same

    • We loved Explorer

Virgin Q&A

  • What tips do you have for a solo sailing?

    • Solo meet-up on the first day is a must. This will help create connections early on ahead of dinner reservations, excursions and sea days!

    • Go to solo sailor meetup AND dinner on day 1, do the Grog walk on day 1 (has to be day 1. The energy isn’t the same on the other days that it’s offered), eat at Gunbae day 2

    • Use the voyage-specific Solos WhatsApp to find spontaneous company for a drink, a show, a game, a pizza, etc. You don’t have to be solo unless you choose to have time alone.

    • Meet other solos at the coffee cafe at 5:45pm. You’ll get a 6pm reservation at any of the restaurants your group decides on.

    • My biggest tip is to go with the flow

    • You come solo but leave with friends

  • Best dessert on board and where?

    • Peanut/almond Brittle in the Social Club

    • The Fudge , Cake Pops, and Fruity Pebble bars at the Social Club

    • The Chocolate Cake at Brunch - Razzle Dazzle

    • The Grounds Club has cookies, pastries, and muffins

    • The Grab and Go Pineapple Tres Leches

    • Fresh baked cookies every night at 10pm in the Galley

    • Macaroons in the Galley

    • Affogato at Extra Virgin

    • Chocolate Taco in Pink Agave

    • The Lemn Cheesecake in the Wake

    • Callebaut Dark Chocolate
