  • How long before your boarding time do you get in line to board?

    • When you check in you get an “arrival time” at the terminal. This helps prevent large crowds getting on at the same time.

    • Arrive 30min before to have time to park and walk to the terminal.

    • Once you arrive you have a process to go through. TSA, carry on is scanned, documents are checked, then depending on how it’s going you might have to sit and wait for a bit in the lounge until your boarding class is called.

      • Go to a physical safety briefing and have your card scanned.

      • Watch video on app or on room tv

  • Do I put cash in the machines like regular casinos onboard the Caribbean Princess?

    • You can use cash if you want, or you scan your Medallion. The other option is charging to you cabin account. (nice option if you have onboard credits)

    • You can charge up to $5000 per day anywhere on the ship.

Royal FAQs

  • In the main dining room, do they have to-go boxes to take your dessert back to the room?

    • You can take any/all of it to go, they have plate covers. (not boxes)

  • Is the flow rider free or do you have to pay for a reservation?

    • Free unless you want a private lesson

  • Is it true that non alcoholic beverages are included?

    • Non alcoholic beverages such as water, soda, and drip coffee are included. Specialty coffees, Red Bull, mocktails, etc. are extra.

  • What’s Grog walk?

    • A sort of bar crawl that happens where you have to do different things to earn drink tickets at each bar.
